CFO, Deborah Chenois, was named to Louisville Business First's 2024 Best in Finance list yesterday at a wonderful event hosted by BFL. Appointed CFO of OnPoint Warranty Solutions in March 2023, Deb is one of Louisville's best financial professionals.
Since joining OnPoint last year, she has in fact impacted the the organization in so many ways.
Deborah is a top local and national business leader, whom has served in several previous roles at Fortune 100 companies, across a number of verticals.
While at General Electric Corporation, she worked in finance, human resources, quality improvement, product development, and mergers and acquisitions.
She also held leadership positions at ServicePower, where she was one of the founding members of it's Field Service Solutions division, responsible for developing and launch its third party dispatch and claims platforms, and later at HD Supply, where she served in many finance leadership roles, as well as served as its business integrations leader, where she was responsible for onboarding mergers and acquisitions. She also served in finance roles at Wilbur-Ellis and Atria Senior Living before joining OnPoint in the spring of 2023.
Deborah joined OnPoint at a critical point in its development. In January 2023, it completed a strategic transaction with a private equity vehicle managed by Waterfall Asset Management, and Atalaya Capital Management, to support the acquisition of Guardian Protection Products, Inc., while also providing additional capital for OnPoint to further accelerate growth in its mobile and warranty products, as well as to further enhance its industry-leading, proprietary insurance technology platform, Service Avenger.
Deborah was instrumental in onboarding the Guardian business, while as the same time, implementing an entirely new corporate accounting system. She has artfully orchestrated and managed our relationships with both our private equity partners, our board, and also our banking partner, JP Morgan Chase. She's improved our financial performance and implemented financial stability and accountability.
