Tammy Strunk has been helping our agents improve for many years, and this month we'll take a spotlight at someone who's determination and sympathies make her an all-star employee.
When did you start at OnPoint?
7yrs ago
How would you summarize what you do?
I help agents with claims, go over their mistakes to prevent them from happening again, work claims myself, help clean up inventory and take escalated calls.
Can you tell us a few details about your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part is helping agents to better themselves to try and reach their goal of being a team lead or supervisor. Most recently an agent was on a pip and I worked with that agent to bring up their stats so they are able to reach their goal, to make tiers to earn bonuses and come off their pip.
Please share any recent accomplishments or a particularly fulfilling aspect of your work.
Even though agents may not think upper management is watching agent performance, and trust me they are, they still approach you for advancement. Which means a lot since it shows upper management cares and doesn't forget about good working agents.
What do you like most about OnPoint's company culture? Share an example:
The work/life balance and the willingness to work with agents when emergencies arise.
Tell us the most significant project you handled and how its impacted OnPoint?
Worked on helping clean up so ques with old open claims and it helped us know what is current and made us able to assign claims correctly.
Who inspires you the most within our organization?
There is just not one single person. All upper management and trainers are always there with no questions asked to help and guide you, and I take a lot of that with me when I help other agents.
Where are you from?
Pennsylvania originally but now I live in North Carolina.
Where did you go to high school/college?
Stroudsburg High School & North Hampton Community College.
Tell us what you do for fun?
Working on cars and home construction. I also love watching my grandsons play football.
